You will be responsible for assisting the team deliver a quality After School Program at Red Hill Consolidated School, Arthurs Seat Road, Red Hill.
Programs run from 3:15 pm to 6:15 pm each school day during the school term. The following qualifications are acceptable: Bachelor in Teaching (Primary and/or Early Childhood); Bachelor in Arts Recreation or Youth Affairs; Diploma of Community Services (Children's Services); Associate Diploma in Child/or Youth Recreation; Certificate 4 (Outside School Hours), or working towards a relevant qualification.
Applicants must have experience working with Primary School aged children in a variety of situations, the ability to provide a range of interesting, varied activities including sporting activities for children. Knowledge and experience of the needs of children and families including children with additional needs and a current First Aid certificate are essential.
This position requires a Working With Children Check and be prepared to undertake a Police Record Check.

To succeed in obtaining this position you will have:
• Tertiary qualifications and at least five years experience in WHS
• Well developed analytical and conceptual skills and ability to develop strategic programs
• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures including the WorkCover, WH&S and rehabilitation structures, systems, providers, practices and industry standards.
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with a wide range of managers, employees, and health and safety professionals.
